On the 6th November Rockstar made the announcement that the highly anticipated sequel to Grand Theft Auto V will be subject to yet another delay.
Now set to release on 19th November 2026, for many this delay is upsetting. However, when it comes to Rockstar, I for one do not mind the delays, as long as I am not 70 when this releases. The reality is that these delays are not a choice mad easily as they bare financial repercussions, though it can be argued Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, can afford these repercussions.
They made the following statement as apart of the announcement:

Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.
We want to thank you again for your patience and support. While the wait is a little longer, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern day Vice City.
