Today the new trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie dropped and the nerd inside cannot wait!
It is no understatement to say that video game films struggle, but in 2023 Illumination broke the mould and delivered a film that not only delighted old fans of the franchise but was one of the most enjoyable family films of the year. They seem to be doing it again as the trailer shows a truly bright and colourful film that looks to be another success in Illuminations fantastic catalogue.
It appears the brothers will be taking on a new threat, that of Bowser’s son who tries to rescue him from what seems to be the most delightful imprisonment ever.
We are also introduced to Princess Rosealina who is believed to be voiced by the fantastic Brie Larson.
Super Mario Galaxy should allow for more diverse environments and even greater eye smothering beauty. I truly anticipate this film to be a fantastic watch for every member of the family.
The film is set to release in April 2026, I am predicting Friday 10th April.
